December is upon us and oh baby it's getting cold! That wouldn't stop you from running, walking, or training outside would it?!
In these upcoming months I would encourage you to use fitness as a solution to combat the winter blues. If you're not traveling on a ski vacation you can still enjoy the great outdoors.
For example running, biking, and hiking groups are still in full effect here in Raleigh, NC. Heck! in my hometown of Montreal, Canada some people still ride their bicycle to work when it's icing or snowing. In cities like Raleigh, Dallas, Austin and Orlando you can also join outdoor fitness classes like Camp Gladiator.
However, in order to enjoy outdoor workouts be sure to bundle up. With the proper gear you won't feel cold and instead will feel refreshed and rejuvenated.

Also, one of my habits is drinking ginger tea in the morning before my workout. Ginger tea increase both the circulation and metabolism which means I stay warm and burn more calories. The works.
